I never know what I will be making when I fist sit down; I let the ideas come to me! Fossils, druzy or perhaps angels?
I grew up in England, surrounded by ancient history. This deep historical discourse serves inspiration.
I spent my childhood exploring crumbling ruins and opulent royal residences.
I am happiest in the deep, lush new forest, walking among wildflowers and ponies.

Inspired by mystical, magical ruins

I grew up the British country side, a short walk away from Cadbury Camp - one of the fabled locations of King Arthur's Camelot. Local folklore had it that Arthur and his Knights would ride out upon the camp on midsummer's night.

My childhood was spent exploring the beautiful forests and finding treasures among moss and rocks, including coins from the mid 15th century. My love of history carried through to my adulthood. I am transfixed by crumbling castles, history, ruins and the essence of magic.

Fairy tales, mystical beings and hidden treasures all inspire my jewellery, which I make by hand in my current place of residence, the Rocky Mountains of Canada.

I seek to make pieces that are inspired by history, beautiful and carry that timeless appeal, with a bit of whimsy woven in.

When I sit down to create, I never know what I am going to create, I let the ideas come to me, and often use trinkets and treasures I have collected around the world - windswept beaches, deserted mountain trails and old markets.
